Preschool
At AMS, your child’s experience in these years will orbit around building essential skills in pre-literacy, curiosity, discovery, and cooperation. With an Early Childhood program designed by AMS senior educators, students are supported socially, emotionally, and academically. All our students are seen as unique individuals with incredible potential, and we journey alongside them each day in this era of monumental growth.
Elementary School
Al-Alamiya Elementary School aims to make learning relevant and meaningful to students by adopting inquiry-based, integrated curriculum which focuses on the child as a learner. We recognize that children come to us as distinct individuals with unique experiences, backgrounds, abilities, and interests.
Middle School
Middle School is an essential time in our children’s lives as they begin to be young adults. In middle school, we carefully blend caring relationships with responsibility and reflection. Your children not only learn academic skills, but also the interpersonal skills of team work, personal responsibility, academic integrity, and social justice. When our students move on to high school, we believe that they will be fully prepared to transition into this next level successfully. Building students’ characters and awareness prepares them to become masters of their own learning during Middle School, with everything needed to be ready for their last four years at AMS.
High School
Middle School is an essential time in our children’s lives as they begin to be young adults. In middle school, we carefully blend caring relationships with responsibility and reflection. We train our students to actively question ideas and assumptions rather than accepting them as true and genuine without being questioned or doubted. Students are asked to understand, analyze, and evaluate ideas, arguments, findings, and the entire picture .Our final target is to build independent thinkers.
On the other hand, we provide students with a safe and diverse learning environment. Within classroom, we provide our students with a variety of ways from project-based learning to online and paper exams to demonstrate their learning. We also recognize the importance of technology. Every student has the necessary electronic devices at their fingertips all the time, enabling them to integrate the use of technology into their learning experience.
We believe in a strong-home relationship built on a foundation of partnership and effective two-way communication with parents. Our doors, phone lines, and inboxes are always open, and we welcome any opportunity to strengthen this bond.
